Happy Birthday Audrey Hepburn

Getting out of a taxi early in the morning, elegantly dressed Holly emerges. She looks at the Tiffany shop, strolling through. As I was watching it, I was in a dreamland.

As Holly reaches her apartment she is met with Paul an writer. They both strike a friendship soon, revealing parts of their lives to each other. Spending a day together doing things they haven't done.

Holly wants to marry someone rich who can take of her, but she is confide in her own prison as it is said later in the movie. She is afraid to let someone love her and she back and live happily. But for marrying rich has a reason for her.

The movie kind of puts a blanket on its reality of characters, especially Holly's. Holly is someone lost in the big city, where her dreams and reality blend in. She is hiding herself, dressing elegantly, having a smile...

But I kind of forgot about everything as Audrey Hepburn is just so excellent here. She owns the role which is meant to be charming, lovely and adored by everyone. Finding the character of Holly within themselves. The scene of her looking for the cat in the rain and then hugging it was just so emotionally beautiful scene. I don't know how but Audrey just lights everything up. Her smile is so beautiful and she herself is so elegant and strong.

If time travel was possible I would really love to meet Audrey and faint in front of her.

Breakfast at Tiffany's is a charming rom com and I mean it has Audrey Hepburn at her best and finest...What more do you want here?
