The critics that have issues with this work have never slept in a space they couldn't control, watched any Kurosawa films other than his historical dramas, hate paintings, disregard human struggle, think the effects of war stop when it ends, want perfect communities, get flustered when following multiple storylines, and know absolutely nothing about how your imagination can literally be the only thing to try and get you through hard times.
