My taste leans populist. I like schlock. I love garbage. My favorite pocket genre is deep sea #horror.

I loved the way they rolled that title card down. It really made it feel like a comic book and set the tone perfectly. There's a lot of action, SFX and makeup work to like here. And if that stuff isn't why you're here you'll be disappointed. The plot is real standard dumdum Predator shit, the movie lacks internal consistency and there's the standard amount (read: way too much) shaky handheld camerawork.

It died as the clubs got pushed out of town fifteen years ago to make room for multiplexes and parking lots. Even though there was so much venom and hate sometimes, it felt like a safe place to be myself. I knew Heroin Bob and his story played out similarly. I knew…
