Cinema technical boffin and love the joy of movies.
Keven Bacon reluctantly agreed to be in this B movie monster comedy. It seems he thought it was going to be a bad career decision because it would be silly and stupid and not worth his time. I get the impression that many people who haven’t seen this feel the same way and possibly pass it over.
Well how stupid are they!
So many great comedy scenes and great one liners.
Do yourself a favour and go watch it. And go watch it again if you have met seen it in ages.
Such a teenage childhood favourite. I know it has some race and gay paranoia issues but they were all to do with the two absolute dicks in the movie. They were dicks then never mind now so what they say is unacceptable and they get their comeuppance.
I don’t know if it’s just nostalgia but I just love it.
They sequels are silly and lazy but I think this one is an ugly gem.
Not wasting time on this. Over produced, purposefully confusing, obnoxiously loud, characterless mess of a film. Seriously disappointed in Nolan. I think he’s lost the plot (no pun intended).
There is so much plot that unless there is action, there is nothing but exposition, which would be OK if you could understand what being said through the muffled dialogue that is trying to be heard over a load of sound FX and music and also if it was cut together…
