I'm not biased towards animation, it just happens that the four best movies are animated.

I think for as stupid as this movie is with all of its one-liners, it has a lot to say about humanity and what we accept as entertainment. We see this movie and understand that this is a really fucked up future. And yet we cheer for the same things as the audience. For us it's fiction, but say something like the recent Squid games reality show or whatever it's called. That has taken a fictional concept where contestants are…

It should really be illegal to have a kid this cute in a monster movie.

Godzilla minus one is a movie that cares about Godzilla, its history and its audience. Taking Godzilla seriously isn't something Hollywood has ever really cared to do. Untill…

Just a solid short doc. Does what it needs, nothing more nothing less. Tackles a very important issue in a good way. As I don't live in the US, nor am I black, I don't feel like I have much to add to the discussion.

If anything it makes me feel optimistic about my chances of having a short film nominated for an Oscar.

The perfect "dad movie" indeed. My dad really enjoyed it.

I was sceptical as to why this movie was nominated for so many Oscars, but I get it now. It's definitely not best picture, but the cinematography, the editing and of course the sound... My god. And I can't forget the performances from Damon and Bale. Christian Bale really shows what he's capable of here. Just a really great wholesome, thrilling movie with fast cars. What more can you ask for?

If you held me at gun point and asked me what the plot of this movie was, I'd pull the trigger myself because I don't know and I don't want to ever think about this movie again
