“I’m sorry I never came in your room when you were crying”

Grief, loss, and fear. Such an expressive story and so true. Tragic, yet somehow hopeful and beautiful, how memories are relieved with the purpose of fixing things, to hear what has never been said.

“It was a long time ago”
    “I don’t think that matters”

Two amazing performances by Andrew Scott and Paul Mescal, astonishing cinematography, and a brilliant soundtrack. So emotional, pure, and real. I would rewatch…

"Are you gonna remember any of this?"

"I said I hope you do, and you got so upset,
so I said, I’d remind you of everything."

One of the best quotes I've ever heard and one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I have no remark to make, I loved it from the first scene, until the ending. Time flew incredibly fast, and it's unbelievable how much of a masterpiece Mike Mills' creation is. The score was…

Modern masterpiece, with a sense of something classic.

Impressive first watch, but even better after seeing it twice. Full of hints, both in the script and also in the techniques used to tell the story. A terrifying and unforgettable ending that makes the movie even more impactful.

“You know, when you lose, you lose. But when you win, you expect some kind of reward... and there isn't any.”

    El Conde

Came for the cinematography, stayed for… I don’t know why I watched this movie until the end. Besides the astonishing imagery which it has also received an Academy nomination for, it was boring, very weak plot wise and very poor in terms of narrative. I truly wanted to enjoy it, I just simply couldn’t.

(maybe I didn’t get it and I’m fine with that)

    Biggest disappointment of the year

I can't even explain how much of a disappointment this movie was for me, as I was expecting to see another Fincher masterpiece. Maybe I got used to his style, even though I haven't seen all of his movies, but I imagined he would deliver the movie's message in a way more dynamic way. Unfortunately, the beginning of the movie was the only part I actually enjoyed. And it is quite funny because as I…

    "The minari will grow here."

Beautiful. A movie about family, unity, and hope. From the very first scene, the music was already telling us this movie was going to be great. Emile Mosseri did an amazing job producing the soundtrack, offering the audience the warmth family members give to each other. It was written with passion.

The farm is a great metaphor for family, especially for their family. Jacob (Steven Yeun) did not appreciate his children and wife's well-being and…
