Letterboxd — Your life in film

Beautiful movie. Cried.

It would have been way better if it was R-Rated.

A bit confusing at first, but man, Park Chan-wook is a genius.

Great acting, specially from Jake Gyllenhaal. Unfortunately, I felt that some scenes were way to melodramatic and cliché.
The boxing fights were awesome tho.

"Amsterdam" is nowhere near perfect, but I don't think that it's as bad as the reviews imply. The plot could've been better and less messy, as well as the pacing of the movie, but overall, I thought it was a fun watch, the quirky characters and great costume design can easily grab our attention, and the colorful cinematography and the score can make this film worth our time.

Adam Driver is the best thing about this. Don't even know what to feel about it, the whole thing was kind of a mess, but enjoyable at times.

Slow-paced in the beginning but with a perfect buildup to that gut-wrenching ending.

"The moment you said you loved me, Your love is over. The moment your love ends, My love begins."

Park Chan-Wook does not miss!

Disappointed. Throughout the events of the film, not once did I manage to connect with the main characters, the story felt like such a long trip that when it eventually reached its climax, I was too tired to care.
Also, was I supposed to get emotional with this? The ending left me more grossed out than sad.

I liked this one, specially the first half. From what I've seen, it's the best horror movie this year, along with "Pearl".

A (absolutely needed) breath of fresh air in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Michael Giacchino brought something new to the table, which is ironic since it's an homage to classic monster/horror movies.

"Aftersun" might have one of the best and most emotional endings I've seen in a film.
I'll never listen to "Under Pressure" the same way after this.
