CODA deserves all the praise. With a cast so talented and likeable, this film moved me in ways that I don't experience a lot in films. The difference between this one and the other drama films this year was this was a great slice of life, coming of age and family type story, not every film has to be deep and edgy to be appreciated. It's a type of movie that can get nominated for awards but also one you'll enjoy at the cinema with your family or friends. Most importantly, I'm so happy that deaf culture is being recognized. Here's to more life and opportunity!
