I'm sorry, Chris but how do you expect me to be on “edge” if I find every little bit of this piece uninteresting & lifeless?
The Safdie brothers had been, for far too long, setting their hearts on bringing a souteneur to his senses. One that indulges in the surroundings of ear-splitting, dreary characters. There's truly a faint air of disreputability that clings to almost every character that appears on screen including the protagonist.

It’s absorbing, I will give you that Peele. But, sometimes, it’s pretty hard, and almost pointless, to try put the puzzle pieces together after you realize there’s another 1000 unsettled pieces that might not even seem to be connected to begin with.
