  I don't know whether to marvel at Arundhati Roy's foresight, at the fact that this film stands the test of time or to be dismayed that it's been exactly 20 years since this film was made and nothing has changed.

  You try to put together work that you don't believe in for a jury that is never really listening to what you're saying.

  A design student's life, compressed into 2 hours.

  5 stars because I want everyone to spend time with Glenn. Oh, what a lovely person! To witness Black, trans joy is so beautiful. I am feeling incredibly human right now. I feel like if I reached out to someone I could touch their soul, and them mine. Films like these remind me that there is so much wonder in life I am yet to discover. I forget to hold onto this joy, but these fleeting moments are why I keep returning to the movies. Oh I am such a hopeless romantic for cinema.

  And incredible end credits. Totally mindblowing.
