Sexy Paddington’s Adventures through Philosophy. Really dug this. The humor keeps it interesting even when it devolves into Philosophy 101 territory.

Glad to see Lanthimos sticking with the fish-eye lens even after the blowback from The Favorite. Also nice to see some Jeunet sneaking into his production design and aesthetic.

My major criticism isn’t even the film, it’s the marketing. After Megan and Wednesday and Barbie, Searchlight deciding not to flood the zone with Stone and Ruffalo dancing seems like…

That script! Posey’s great but I’m a little disappointed in the lack of love for Genevieve Bujold. Her flair for the dramatic is so perfectly balanced. Not the over-the-top insanity of Posey or the trying to put on a normal front of Hamilton.

    Nope.

Unspecific and without a point of view. This lumps every terrible birth fear together into a mishmash so unruly as to make every fear seem ridiculous. Disrespectful to everyone with true birth trauma, this feels like a childless person's scream into the aether in defiance of everything that could go wrong.

Ugly, poorly done and badly shot; this is a fundamental miss on all fronts.
