Terrible but amazing. I feel like Chris Carter definitely loves this movie because there are a couple of X-Files episodes that seem to draw from it.

I love Katharine Hepburn. I really do not care for John Wayne. I couldn't imagine them working together, but I must say that it worked surprisingly well. They're both playing 100% to type and their odd couple chemistry is quite appealing. It even made me ... like John Wayne a little bit. 🤫

I found it very relatable when Letterman was standing next to The Edge and The Edge played "Where the Streets Have No Name" and Letterman was like "please do it again."
Listen. Listen. I adore U2, and for me this was totally delightful. They even filmed parts of it in Marsh's Library, as if to say, "this one's for all our rare book librarian fans." I'm touched. 🥲
