“We’re all different...but there’s something kind of fantastic about that, isn’t there.”
This is the fourth movie I’ve watched off of my recommend me movies list (thank you very much to my good friend Matt for recommending this one) and holy crap, this is one of the best movies I’ve seen. I loved it so much.
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. The voice acting was absolutely superb. It had an absolute a-list cast and they all did such an incredible job at bringing the characters to life. The score was also very good, catchy, fitting, happy, light, and fun. The characters were all really interesting. There were almost none that seemed like they were uselessly thrown in. They were all there and they all fit. The message was also fantastic and uplifting. It was great, it just wraps you up in a nice warm hug.
And I mean the look of this, it’s so enjoyable to look at. The whole thing is just so damn cute. And it’s funny, like really funny, there were times when I laughed out loud and I had a smile on my face the whole watch through.
I loved this movie so much, like it made me so happy I find it hard to describe. I don’t think it’ll weasel its way into my top 10 but if I had a top 20 list, Fantastic Mr. Fox would absolutely make it up there.
Again, thank you Matt for the recommendation.
