Knock at the Cabin

Knock at the Cabin ★★★

GRADE: B-

While Knock at the Cabin does suffer from some clumsy storytelling, some of the usual awkward Shyamalan-isms that you expect, and an underwhelming ending, it’s an intense thriller in the style of a bottle film where most of the film takes place in one single location and has you on the edge of your seat. Also Dave Bautista proving that he’s growing to be a great actor and taking more chances in his character as he’s the standout in the cast, as well as Ben Aldridge as one of the husbands, he was really good. Despite its flaws, it’s definitely one of Shyamalan’s better films.
