I definitely respect this film more than I particularly enjoyed it, simply by how ambitious it is. Zero Dark Thirty, formulated from a incredibly bold script, has some great scenes and a fairly decent pace for it's genre. However, I felt somewhat worn out from trying to keep track of all of the 'intel' and varying characters. Chastain is spectacular as always, but i particularly enjoyed the assortment of secondary characters. Gandolfini, Strong and Chandler made for an excellent supporting cast. Although I don't LOVE this genre (war on terror dramas), I found this film to be a cut above the rest (Body of Lies, Hurt Locker caliber). Perhaps needs another viewing and some more attention.
