    Dear LetterBoxers,

Hold up, how is this dude Miles Teller so good at being the inspirational…“started from the bottom now we here” guy. Like I remember getting the same exact feeling after watching his movie Whiplash. And I’m not lying to you when I say that after watching Bleed for This, I did 60 push-ups back to back. So yea, I’d definitely recommend this film to the ones who’ve watched a little too much TV this week because who knows…you might be inspired to leap off that couch and start kicking some ass again. Nevertheless, have an amazing day y’all.

Dayum!! this movie was HOT. I mean not in that way but in an extremely entertaining kind of way. I loved the acting, colors, and filming. This movie felt like a big Jenga set being built higher & higher and I was just waiting for it to come crashing down. Only complaint is that I didn’t really understand the characters outside of this one snippet of their lives, so it lacked some connection and meaning.

This movie is a trip. In order to watch this movie I’d suggest preparing by cooking a nice dish of seafood with sourdough bread. Whatever obscure genre category that “The Lighthouse” falls into, they freaking aced it. If I could I would give a standing ovation to the green goblin and the guy from Twilight for their superlative performances.

    P.S.
Shout out to the cinematographers, the black and white colors with the boxy frame goes hard.

Aaaaah this movie is the best like slow burning thriller I’ve ever seen. The way that it escalates is just done in the perfect cadence. Also I just love the meticulous effort put into making the AI feel as real and fake as possible. Brilliant casting choices as well.
