It’s probably safe to assume at this point that snarkisms are killing American cinema, and just because there are worse culprits in its murder right now, just because it’s still possible (for now) to market blockbusters based on interchangeable properties, doesn’t mean this self-satisfied, hateful eyesore, this waste of a mostly appealing cast isn’t emblematic of Marvel-era Hollywood’s worst behaviour or is worth your support. It’s time for David Leitch’s killing spree to end.
