• The Banshees of Inisherin

    The Banshees of Inisherin

Probably my favorite McDonaugh though I have to rewatch In Bruges. Both Farrell and Gleeson are phenomenal here and the writing never takes away from the very heavy themes it's dealing with while still being damn funny. Highly recommend this one.

  • The Fabelmans

    The Fabelmans

Very good, consistently engaging despite it's lengthy runtime. Great performances from everyone involved and one of the best endings of the year.

  • TÁR

I’m pretty tired so I probably didn’t get as much as I probably could of, but this was very damn good. Cate Blanchett is incredible, the direction and cinematography are fantastic as well. Definitely recommend if you like slow burn character studies.

  • The Menu

    The Menu

Ending kinda fumbles but it features some solid performances from Taylor-Joy and Fiennes. Also Deming creates some really nice images and Mylod does a solid job managing dark humor and really disturbing moments. Would recommend, but can definitely wait for streaming.

  • Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

    Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Nice to see a marvel movie take itself seriously for once. Need to rewatch cause I had a decently ass theater experience but fairly solid with great performances from everyone, better CGI, and rad cinematography. Hope marvel makes more like this.

  • Nope

Still an absolute banger, this will inevitably become a 5 soon.

  • Black Panther

    Black Panther

Still have my issues with the third act feeling pretty out of place and the action being ok (that sequence in Korea is solid tho), but the good here outweighed those annoyances for me. It was refreshing to see a marvel movie with actual themes and have most of its jokes come naturally than forced. Excited for Wakanda Forever.

  • Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe

Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe

If this came out in theaters, I would've annoyed everyone in the auditorium with how hard I laughed.

  • The Royal Tenenbaums

    The Royal Tenenbaums

Very likely my favorite Anderson flick. Incredibly human and warm but still genuinely funny. Glad I revisited this.

  • Aftersun

Such a beautiful, touching movie. Mescal and Corio are absolutely phenomenal, oke's cinematography is also stunning. I don't think I've ever seen a movie capture memory in a more realized way. Definitely check this out, you won't regret it.

  • Enemy

Gotta rewatch this to form more of an opinion cause what the fuck

  • Halloween III: Season of the Witch

Halloween III: Season of the Witch

When I said the black phone was the way I was going to end my Halloween, I lied. Still a solid way to end the season, glad this is getting more love now.
