Was not connecting with the first half here besides the occasional joke or two. After that however, I had a lot of fun. Hopefully Honey Don’t will really bring the sauce this needed more consistently.

So glad I finally watched this, bleak but a gripping tale told very well. Night ruiner fs tho.

I had high expectations and this shattered them. Could easily move up to a 5 on a rewatch. Probably my favorite performance I’ve seen from Chalamet, who performs Paul with such nuance that really adds to the movie. Also Fraiser’s cinematography is once again, creating some of the most compelling and expansive imagery I’ve seen in a minute. Finally Villenueve does such a fantastic job at conveying evil and the way prophecy impacts the psyche. I really hope that messiah gets made because what a trilogy that will be. Also see this on the biggest screen, it truly deserves to be taken in.

Liked it more than I remember in the theater. Bring on part two.

Was unaware of how much sauce Elliott Gould has. Glad I have been informed.

Easily my favorite Dominik. Incredibly thoughtful and engaging with an excellent performance from Pitt. Deakins’s cinematography is also stunning as always, the train sequence especially being a highlight. Overall I’m very glad I saw this in a theater, especially with a goat in attendance.

Beautiful animation but I wish it grabbed me more than it did. Idk, maybe I’ll appreciate it more one day.

What a jokers trick of a movie. Didn’t expect this to be as surreal as it was. Don’t remember the last time I was actively reacting to what was happening on screen like this.

Genuinely have no clue how to feel about this one yet. Throws so much shit at the wall and moves on to the next obscene moment. Great performance from Ryder and cinematography from Williams. Also never trusting Simon Rex in any movie again.

Real mixed bag for me. Most of this feels like Vaughn at his most sauceless and isn’t until the last act when it becomes more engaging but by that point it feels completely different from what came before. Idk I hope Vaughan’s next movie really hits.
