  It Lives Inside 2023

  Wish the movie utilized the mythology in a more interesting way, and that the script explored identity in a more meaningful way, as this aspect was introduced and quickly forgotten. A couple cool sequences but as a whole the movie felt derivative, even if the mythology was fresh. Despite all that, I still found it quite enjoyable.

  Last movie of the fest! A clever satire with layers that might go over some white audience’s heads, but as a creative of colour I feel this so hard. Wish the script was a bit tighter because there were way too many subplots going on at once.
