Matty Whitmore’s review published on Letterboxd:
I know how much I love Mads, but am I a Thomas Vinterberg fan? I think I might be. The Hunt is perfect in my opinion, to the extent that I've never had a more powerful film-watching experience and very few that are equal to it. When I'd heard about this film, the premise didn't sound like it could possibly be as compelling or important as The Hunt's, which while being somewhat true, didn't seem to spoil any of its effectiveness. The question of "How far is too far?" may not be as pressing as whether or not somebody can truly be considered innocent until proven guilty, but it definitely stirs questions beyond the ethics of alcohol, into the morality of how we use, or come to abuse our vices.
