I appreciated this a good amount more than last time, by taking it as more of an unashamedly indulgent self-exploration of Fellini's perception of filmmaking, rather than as a story about filmmaking onto itself. I'm still not enamoured by its lumbering pace or overly enigmatic feeling, but you can't fault it as a representation of a pretentious filmmaker's outlook on his life and work.
