What can you say. You have a very good cast here with Tim Robbins terrific as Andy Dufreine, a man found guilty of his wife’s murder. He is then sent to the hell hole of Shawshank prison. He meets Red played by Morgan Freeman and they become friends instantly. The prison is run by the sadistic Warden Norton. The movie is beautifully written and it’s so original and smart. It’s a touching film that hits hard. Theirs unforgettable characters here like ‘the sisters” and it’s fast paced and got some great twists
