They better be engraving Glen Close’s name onto an Oscar right now, because this was seriously an amazing performance from her. For much of the film she is very subdued, but every slight facial expression and twinge in her carefully placed facade had me waiting on the edge of my seat to see what was beneath her quiet rage. The movie is a slow burn but takes some unexpected twists and ends up being quite riveting by the end.

This story seems so outrageous that it’s hard to fathom that it’s actually true. While the movie deals with some very serious issues and has some important messages that are still relevant today, it manages to be fun and highly entertaining. The story has a great caper vibe that kept me hooked and plenty of laughs as well. It’s fast paced and has some excellent twists I didn’t see coming. Highly recommend this one.

It’s the kind of thing that nightmares are made of and I’m sure I’ll be having quite a few after seeing this. The film started out with a creepy ominous tone that only built in intensity as the story progressed. Both lead performances…
