While I do think the first film was a little bit better quality-wise, Across The Spider-Verse was definetly a more enjoyable first watch. It's incredible for Marvel fans and I can imagine the diehard Spider-Man fans getting a lot of joy out of it.

It has the same great humor and incredible animation (which is enhanced tenfold in this film) as the first one, but the story is more open to the craziness of the multiverse and the characters.…

Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to man. For this he was chained to a rock and tortured for eternity.

Oppenheimer (and Barbie) has really brought back theaters. The fact that I can go to a showing on a Wednesday night and have it be near sold out is a great feeling. It's the biggest opening weekend at my local theater since COVID, and with something as spectacular as Oppenheimer, it heightens the experience tenfold.

Overall, pretty comparable to the first one. The lows of Chapter Ii are definitely lower, but the highs are absolutely higher. The last half hour goes unnecessarily hard and the film actually rocks for a bit, but only after an hour+ of messy, poorly structured nothingness. I'm glad it doesn't spend too much time after the really cool stuff trying to create too much resolve, but the first bit of the movie is rough.

Not great, not even really good, but definitely watchable. The Nun is just kind of a nothing movie without any real good scares or sequences (except the one surrounding the line "Who's been praying?"), but I don't really regret watching it. I had a good enough time watching two bad characters and one good one walk around a dark and scary castle fighting demons.

Don't worry about that here, just be a rock.

I'm unbelievably mad at myself for never catching this in the theater. Pretty much everything good you can say about a film you can day about Everything Everywhere All At Once, all with a really fun multiverse twist.

Michelle Yeoh is fantastic, and absolutely my Oscar winner, despite whatever the Academy may think. Ke Huy Quan matches Yeoh, and his Waymond honestly challenges Evelyn as the film's most well written…
