Matt Lowe’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's hard to put this into words.
Take 'The Bachelor'. Keep in all the outtakes, throw away the script and bring in real people instead of caricatures. Maybe you'll end up with something resembling this film.
But it's something more than that. I love and hate the fact that I recognise every improvised conversation. The awkward pauses. The devastating outcomes. Every magic moment in between.
There are scenes that linger for far too long and audio issues that remain unfixed. Yet, that's reality. It's flawed. It lacks structure. It makes us wish for more.
I won't say anything else, but this film brings you uncomfortably close to someone else's life. Capturing it as art has consequences. That's why it needs to be watched.
