Matt Thomas’s review published on Letterboxd:
A rare drop in quality from Pixar whom are at least trying something different but clearly (as seen by the box office) have forgotten whom their core audience are. Although not a terrible film by any stretch of the imagination it is still a small stain on the Toy Story franchise. Perhaps this should have been a Disney+ spin off. It would find a more suitable home there. A live action version - albeit horrendously expensive - might have made more sense too. Please don't make Woody.
