"He wears a dark brown hat. He has razors on his right hand. His skin is badly burned"
"Wh-who is he?"
"His name is Freddy Krueger"
So, can we all agree that this is the best 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' movie ever? Okay, I don't care, IT IS
There's no much to say about the film, it takes everthing that was right in the first movie, forgets about that awful sequel, they brought 'Wes Craven' back to write the script, so what could've gone wrong? That's right, NOTHING. 'Robert Englund' remains awesome, is kinda sad that his appearances are reduced here, the film suffers a lot because of it, but not enough to turn boring, because the cool story, the chemistry between actors and the comeback of 'Heather Langenkamp' as 'Nancy' is just perfect (oh God I love her). In general, the film brings a lot of fun and CRAZY deaths, incredible nightmare sequences, for real, every time a character ends up dreaming is NUTS. I really like the theme that the film presents about the protagonist who ended up winning in the other film, but it really suffered the consequences of the traumatic events, just like what happened with Nancy and she has to live with it, even though she has overcome it in several ways, not every wound is healed
The film is awesome, that's it
