Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler 1922
Film School Drop Out - Week 3
I wasn't sure what I would get from a 4 hour long, silent movie. But how surprising this movie is! Way way way ahead of his time (as far as I know from films of that era). The narative structure presents a plot with many subplot about the chasing of the antihero Dr. Mabuse, a man with superpower of persuasion. 4 hours of psychological thriller/sci-fi/horror German's expressionism. I assure this is the kind of movie that worth it (if you have an interest in pre-sound film).

The Adventures of Robin Hood 1938
Film School Drop Out 2017 - week 4 (Swashbuckler)
The Adventures of Robin Hood is fantastic. The music and the action make it so epic. Yes the dialogue is cheesy, but it just makes the film charming. Flynn is a great actor with an extraordinary charisma. I recommend this film to anyone, there is something special here.
