"A picture with a smile — and perhaps, a tear."
Charlie Chaplin's 'The Kid' is simply a heart-wrenching film that shows a beautiful & palpable relationship between father-son and poverty profoundly.
Charlie Chaplin as a lead actor, director, producer, writer, editor, composer— outstanding. He brilliantly tells us the heartfelt story with humor that makes this 53-mins journey so emotional and funny too. Jackie Coogan as the kid was so impressive that sometimes he almost outmatched Chaplin. And finally, that dream sequence was really amazing.
It's impossible not to fall in love with, even 100 years later. May Charlie Chaplin's legacy live forever.
