I'm a horror fanatic and metalhead with a love of film criticism. None of what I say is fact, it's just my personal opinion.
Oh look, a jump scare…and another one…and another…and another…then another….then another…then another…
The acting was solid and I liked the idea of the movie. However, the movie shoots itself in the foot in the third act by turning into another generic CGI supernatural horror movie, bombarding me with jump scares and unintentionally hilarious scenes non stop. I was laughing at all the parts where people were scared in my theater.
I’d say wait for streaming on this one.
Wow…this movie was a hell of a lot worse than those trailers. Coming from a longtime fan of Rob Zombie’s music and a fan of the Munsters tv show, I have no problem saying this might be Rob’s worst movie and my second worst movie of 2022.
While the color scheme in certain scenes does look cool and some of the monster designs are neat, there is almost nothing redeeming to be found in this movie. Buckle up ladies and…
This movie was…something. I don’t mean that in a bad way but it really did catch me off guard especially with the big reveal at the end. The movie is well shot, creepy, and the actors do a great job. I can’t really day it’s scary because there are some moments that are funny (not like Men where nothing was creepy or scary).
I recommend giving it a watch but I’d be ready to prepare yourself for the ending.
