This movie has been engraved in my brain ever since I first saw it. Fantastic Mr. Fox is a part of my childhood. I watched it a lot as a kid. It was my first Wes Anderson movie, before I even knew who he was. I also watched The Royal Tenenbaums a lot as a kid as stated in that review, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou once as a kid as stated in that review, and I also watched The Grand Budapest Hotel a few times as well. I never watched any of those movies quite as much as Fantastic Mr. Fox. Rewatching it was such a phenomenal pleasure. It has my favorite Wes Anderson soundtrack, some of the best voice acting in animation, Anderson’s direction style is expertly carried into the animation format, the stop-motion animation is beautiful, the movie is tremendously heartwarming and hilarious, and what felt like the whole time watching it my face was like :D . Fantastic Mr. Fox has always been and will always be my favorite Wes Anderson movie.
