West Side Story 2021
This is one remake that is definitely worth watching!
Usually remakes fall short of living up to the original, and this one had a huge award winning original to live up to. Surprisingly though it did!
This is a beautiful movie visually and a respectful and faithful retelling of the original. There are also a few new scenes and songs that were beautiful, appropriate, seamless and which added another layer to the story.
