Kissin' Cousins 1964
I was kinda bummed the movie didn't play with two Elvis' enough, especially considering one is a blonde country cousin to Elvis' dark-haired city man. Instead this is another blase story of Elvis being torn between two girls with the added benefit of a military story. The songs are better than in Elvis' later features. It's a basic, but far from the best.

Double Trouble 1967
You'd think, based off the poster, that THIS is the movie where Elvis plays twins (that'd be "Kissin' Cousins"). Nope, instead this is Elvis' Bond rip-off wherein his character finds himself stuck in the middle of a jewel heist and a rich heiress whose life is in danger. Another movie where Elvis looks like he'd rather be anywhere else. Annette Day isn't much of an actress and just plays her character as a wide-eyed child (a major plot point is that she's 17 and Elvis...doesn't want to go to jail. Barf.).

Annie Hall 1977

On its own merits Annie Hall is fine. It sets up the Allen persona as…
