Marna Larsen’s review published on Letterboxd:
A magical movie about friendship. This is THE eighties movie I wish I had gotten to see back in the actual 80's. (Of course, it was a lot harder for me to pay attention to movies back when I was in preschool. Well, no. That's not true. I have the same amount of trouble paying attention, probably. Maybe this is the movie I would want to have seen if it actually existed outside of Orlando and Mom had me first instead of my brother, or at least a me approximation. Well, you know what I mean.) All I can say is, this is the ultimate feel good movie - and wtf movie - think levels of incomprehension that almost feel like enlightenment or the blinding white light you are supposed to see right before you die.
I can only hope that death feels anything at all like this movie.
