"Kiki's Delivery Service" finally became a 5-star movie for me on fourth viewing! I've warmed up to it a quite bit now, and it's just low in my top 10 Ghibli movies because I love some of the other ones more.
The characters are endearing, the animation is stunning, the score is fantastic, the setting is realistic and the themes about work, passion, independence and a lot more are emotional! I love the comforting nature of this movie, and while it is full of details and layers, it can be enjoyed as a unique coming-of-age adventure.
