I’m just another jew who loves xmas movies. The grainy quality was mesmerizing. I love when ppl slowly learn more & more about each other’s inner worlds until the only option is to appreciate & adore one another. There were a few moments I found boring but luckily my date was cute.

As good as a 3 hr movie with such a mind-boggling slew of white men can possibly be. The audio and visuals of the explosion were disappointing to me, but the final act and especially the final scene really solidified this movie’s greatness. Both cillian murphy and florence pugh turn me into a rabid creature of sorts.

Gravity 2013
I saw this in theaters and I remember being awestruck by it. Mostly by the visuals but also just the intensity of the whole thing. I love that it feels like a survival horror, a character piece, and a sci-fi all at once. Maybe some moments fail to live up to all 3 genres adequately, but the combo is still uniquely engaging. I also loved this bit of monologue: “Will you mourn for me? Will you say a prayer for me? Or is it too late? I’d say one for myself but I’ve never prayed in my life. Nobody ever taught me how.”
