not really a good film, doesn’t deliver on any promises made. kind of felt like a channel 5/all gas no breaks highlight reel. shortform is definitely andrew callaghan’s forte.

some great moments within but this is about as much a film as an Okay youtube video essay.
also, the film’s thesis (andrew’s being above it all as a centrist) leaves a sour taste in my mouth. it’s dismissive at best and condescending at worst!
been dying to see this since it was first teased in like 2019!!
i read sir gawain and the green knight in my british literature class sophomore year and i was super into it! -so much so that my friend (who was also in the class) and I speculated how cool it would be if it were to be adapted for the screen, and that we’d be first in line to see it, were it ever to be made…
