A film with a really neat directing style, reminding me at times of Martin Scorsese's "The Irishman" or "The Departed". As big fan of Martin Scorsese, a comparing Shaka King to Scorsese is without a doubt a huge compliment.
A film about revolution, but more importantly about how individuals deal with being part or not being part of that said revolution. It's as much about how a revolution goes as it is how social revolution affects each and single one of us.
