MandelBroSet’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Harder They Fall feels like a film so obsessed with how well its cast that it forgets to give the actors anything interesting to work with. They deliver as well as the roles will allow.
Somehow, with all its unrestrained violence, The Harder They Fall feels vanilla. Not a bad film by any means but there's an element of style over substance but without enough style to justify it. Something missing somewhere in the writing or the direction.
I'll chalk this up as a missed opportunity.
