70% of this movie is really boring  and 30% is pretty fun when M3gan goes off and such. 

It takes a concept with a lot of potential but also one that is very predictable and does the bare minimum with it. This just makes the film so dull and uninteresting. 

But also because the concept is good it manages to have its moments sprinkled in here and there. Like when it actually adds something distinctive to the character of M3gan (her character design is probably the best part of the film) then it’s at least building on the concept a little. Or when it’s being a little campy especially near the end. 

It saves itself enough to be watchable but nothing more really which is kind of a shame.
