  my only experience of winnipeg was sleeping with 3 other people on some couch cushions on the floor of someone's livingroom while on the only tour ive ever been on, 2 enormous dogs periodically waking us up. eventually i got up around 4 or 5am, after only being able to sleep for an hour or two, and went for a walk. looking at the facades of houses, looking at the potholes in the asphalt. i came upon a park by some train tracks. a train was sleeping there. i climbed up on it to get a better look.
