The Vanishing 1993
Many criticize this because it's a remake that's not as good as the original, but I haven't seen the original (at least not yet), so I'm gonna spill my thoughts for a second.
I found it to be rather okay, the cast is great and the tension is nicely built, nothing better than a thriller to take your attention off of a heat wave. However, it started to fall apart in the second act for me, it almost crossed over into the goofy territory and altogether it seemed to be wrapped up rather clumsily.
