anthony’s review published on Letterboxd:
i knew that gillian flynn wrote the novel that this movie is based on but i can't believe that i only just realised that she ALSO wrote the screenplay for this too like WOW that's fucking amazing, gillian flynn is amazing. this script fucking astonishes me, i want it tattooed on my body, it's that incredible. all those sequences with amy's voiceovers are magical and the last 15 minutes FUCK. amy dunne is one of my favourite characters ever, she's so brilliant and smart, i love and admire her. she reminds me of alma from phantom thread, she knows what she wants and isn't going to let anything stop her. i can't believe i didn't appreciate this movie as much as it deserved the previous times i watched it, it's truly amazing, thank you david fincher and gillian flynn
What are you thinking? How are you feeling? What have we done to each other? What will we do?
