THE FINAL CUT
Blade Runner is the definitive cyberpunk movie.
Its effects hold up to this day. Its visuals with its use of neon lighting and beautiful shadows make it one of the most stunning sci-fi films to look at. The plot is simple, but engrossing. The romance could be better (and less assaulty), but the implications of the ending and the film's equally great sequel paint it in an interesting, if still not official new light.
Roy Batty is an amazing villain. His final speech will never not make me feel existentially depressed. Its themes of death are terrifying, but fascinating.
The "zoom and enhance" scene and Roy's final monologue are my favorite scenes in the film.
