Felipe Fritz’s review published on Letterboxd:
It's shocking to me that this film was released in the year 2000. Everything about this movie, from the sets, the costumes, the cinematography, the editing, feels like it was made in the 1980's.
There are countless modern movies set in the 80's , but you can always tell they're not really 80's movies. Not with this one. If you told me this was released in 1987 or whathever, I'de believe you. So props to director Mary Harron and everyone involved in crafting this film.
