Yes!! Like a warm hug on a summer's day. Awkward, painful and messy, but taps a deep-down desire for connection.
I'm not sure how to feel about the ending. It seemed manufactured which normally rubs me the wrong way. But if I've learned anything from this movie, it's that if it's what you need right now, then who cares if it's manufactured or not. Pretend That You Love Me is a series of life’s important moments, fulfilled.
Wonderful that this is available for free on youtube. Well worth the watch.
