"This is the girl"
THIS IS THE FILM
Mulholland Drive just blew my mind. So abstract, complex, one of the most original, haunting and thoughtprovoking films I've ever seen. An experience in every sense of the word. It's seemingly perfect in every way: From the acting (Naomi Watts is oh so good and oh so gorgeous), the odd and disturbing characters, the dream-like score, the beautiful cinematography and the mind-boggling plot. Lynch knocks it out of the park with this one. It consistently delivers the most memorable scenes that ranges from eerie and intense to surreal, dreamlike and beautiful. From the scary Diner scene, the weirdly intense espresso scene, the chillingly emotional Club Silencio scene, to the ending that made me sit and stare at my TV in silence, wondering what the hell I just watched. Mulholland Drive is one of the best films I've ever seen and an instant favourite.
