2020 was a fucking car crash, so what better way to start the new year than with some car crash fucking?

Cronenberg’s unabashedly perverse sleeper hit is a difficult film to quantify, calling into question what exactly defines a good film. Do we rate works based on personal enjoyment? Cultural impact? Technical prowess? When it comes to Crash, there is no point of intersection for any of these measures.

    Ranked: 2021

Was lucky enough to “get over here” for tonight’s Mortal Kombat premiere event, and I’m delighted to report this movie FUCKS.

Bloody, funny and full of (ripped out) heart, the film is accessible enough for even casual gamers to enjoy, while littered with Easter eggs for diehard MK fans.

Captain Boomerang who? Josh Lawson is fucking hilarious, stealing just about every scene with his quintessential ocker bastard Kano. Ludi Lin and Lewis Tan are possibly the most attractive…
