At times, brutally confronting, it's not a stretch to imagine certain crowds won't be able to stomach the themes presented in Women Talking with any ease. 
This is a powerful movie though, structured in a way that, by all means, shouldn't work on screen, but it does. It fires, and it is in huge part thanks to the remarkable performances on display. This cast had no trouble creating the hook with their mere presence, and locking us in throughout this dialogue-driven gauntlet of emotions.
