Burn it down.
If you added Narnia, Clash of the Titans and John Wick into a mixing bowl, and gave it a good whisk, you may end up with something similar to Shang-Chi.
It was an interesting and unconventional entry for Marvel, being different in style and tone, but it was GOOD different. I'd go as far as saying that it was in my top three favourite origin stories to date, up there with Black Panther and Guardians of the Galaxy.
I thought that it was a total knock-out, I got that tingly sensation in the pit of my stomach from all the excitement towards the third-act, I've not felt that in a while.
It featured, hand-on-heart, some of the best action sequences that I've ever seen, the ultra-fast-paced hand-to-hand combat was truly insane and choreographed spectacularly.
